NSIMI 4-5 Fairfield

The last match ended up with 9-goals thriller. Line-up started as such and due to the scorching hot sun and vast drop in stamina, the game was played in a very slow pace. however, after some time, Horandius took the lead. Midfielder Francis took the ball and dribbled from the half line to the left side of the corner flag before crossing a spinning ball past both the advancing keeper and the centre-back. Horandius took the chance well and head the ball into the empty net. Farfield team then equalised just before the half time.

As second half resumed, changes were made and Broderick and Yiyang switched places after disappointing performance by Boderick in the 1st half after replacing eugene. Jerry and King came off too, replacing chee yew and jeremy. Zi ting pushed to CM, chee yew playing LW, jeremy LB. Xi yue's demand of playing outfield was satisfied as Ning Yang stood between the post.

The 2 strikers wasted too many chances, coupled with some slack defending, which causes Farfield to increase their lead easily, 4-1. the deficit would be much larger if it wasn't for Ning yang's point blank save 1m before the line.

With approximately 10 mins to go, Farfield CB cum JJ right winger Terrence was subbed off, probably due to the clash with Horandius while challenging for a header. This proved to be the turning point as the new centre back mispassed the ball to Horandius whilst coming on for seconds, letting him have a 1-on-1 chance with the keeper. He slotted the ball into bottom right. Broderick however, blamed Horandius for not passing the ball to him as he wanted to score, probably due to the lack of goals for NSMI.

2 mins later Francis pulled back another goal after the keeper stumbled upon the corner kick, blasting the net 20cm before the line. With the score 4-3, NSIMI players felt the fightback is on.
The hoped was dashed however, when RB Andrew hold the ball for too long, blaming the lack of options as eugene was having a cramp. The farfield player then snatched the ball off Andrew, before assisting the striker to ensure their victory.

Francis scored the final goal through header assisted by Horandius' long free kick. Andrew did not look disappointed after causing the defeat, probably because there will be 2 less players who can mock him for his usual Cramp antics- Eugene and Yi yang.

The team then ended the day with some photo-taking session. Cheeky Francis who intended to ruin the photo, embarrassed himself instead, with his 'gay-pose'

(11.03) Yiyang will be unavailable for today's match due to the fear of H1N1 as one of his classmates Ganesh was contracted with the disease. Hence, Horandius will be forced to partner 'gay boy' Boderick for this afternoon's match against Farfield Yong Zhi's team. Kick off will be at 4.

TEAM NSIMI 2-2 FC DYNAMO

With 5 players missing through individual commitments,NSIMI were forced to play their match against Team Dynamo without any substitutes.Francis,CheeYew,Kokwai,Xiyue,Vikram were all unavailable for the game.However,long term absentee jeremy ''ilr'' cheong was back in action after the constant guai-laning from NSIMI players.ex-NSIMI player jerry ''beetle'' ang was also making an appearance after his trophy antics.

Starting lineup: Ningyang(GK),Andrew(RB),Nas and King(CB),Jeremy(LB),Pengyang(RW),Kelvin and Ziting(CM),Jerry(LM),Broderick and Yiyang(CF)

NSIMI started off the game without a regular goalkeeper and attacking midfielder Ningyang was forced to play as a goalkeeper for the umpteenth time in his relatively short footballing career.NSIMI started off the better of the two sides,creating many chances but failing to convert them.FC Dynamo were constantly relying on counterattacks,particularly wong junwen down the right for Dynamo.But NSIMI took the lead through an Arsenal-like move.striker Broderick started off the move with a pass to rightback Andrew who passed it to right winger pengyang,followed by a one two with striker yiyang and a pin-point cross for the belated birthday boy kelvin to head into goal.it was 1-0 to NSIMI.the first half ended and it was 1-0 to NSIMI.

After a fun game of open numbers,kelvin was forced to play as goalkeeper for the second half.this robbed NSIMI of its star player and NSIMI's attacking impetus dropped.however,attacking midfielder ningyang was running circles around the dynamo midfield and doing his usual dance.in one instance,he danced past 4 fc dynamo defenders but failed to finish in the box.NSIMI took a two goal lead when striker yiyang went on a great run into the box and passed the ball to broderick who had all the time in the world to finish and put NSIMI 2-0 up.however,NSIMI started to become complacent and dynamo capitalized on this.

Dynamo first pulled a goal back when they launched a counter attack through the middle and the striker placed the ball into the net despite a collision with kelvin the goalkeeper.they then completed the job when andrew failed to clear the ball on the line after a goalmouth scramble during a corner.it was 2-2 and a lesson learnt for NSIMI.

Wanking.Drinking.Watching Porn.These are some of Eugene Tham Kok Wai's famed hobbies and he has become renowned for his weird desire to show his teammates pictures of fat people cutting themselves as seen in the website ''crimson tears''.On the pitch,Eugene is one of the top 15 players at NSIMI,often sprinting past defenders and putting in quality crosses.Eugene started out playing as an attacking midfielder for NSIMI but due to his negligible height,he was shifted out to the right wing to avoid smelling other taller midfielders' armpits.kokwai recently hooked up with anna rose,a talented band in jjc and good guitarists and drummers.sadly,kokwai screwed up talentime for many people when his band's singers were so ''good'' that many people wanted to leave after the opening act.the male singer sang ''check yes juliet'' by we the kings and the chorus went ''run baby run''.after the male singer had sung that part,the audience really wanted to run,literally.however,kokwai,being his usual multitasking self(he wanks and does homework at the same time),he joined another talented band,crew 3047 which was a great success as they took home the grand prize of $1000.kokwai,as usual,used the prize money to buy new porn on the internet.kokwai is well loved in NSIMI for his funny antics and his renowned phrase ''TALKCOCK''.we hope kokwai will continue his performances for NSIMI and hopefully NOT wake up with a hangover and miss matches again.

1st half:




NSIMI kicked off their first match in 3 weeks due to inavailability of players and opponents under the sweltering heat because AMG booked the pitch at 12pm -.- syarifuddin hidayat was signed on a one-match contract from K.I.N.A FC due to too little players being available for NSIMI and he started on the bench for NSIMI,so too was famous chemistry rep abdul hakim.vikram made his long awaited return from ''mugging'' and was in goal for NSIMI.unfortunately,ziting was played on the left wing for NSIMI due to left winger jerry ''beetle.'' ang retiring from football due to his antics in chua see how's classroom.jeremy ''ILR'' cheong was also unavailable due to other "commitments".rightwinger tham kokwai was unavailable due to excessive wanking on facebook the night before.



NSIMI was slow off the blocks with the 3 week break clearly showing.AMG took the lead when centreback Yo Wee King misjudged a through ball,allowing ex JJC striker kokyao to slot into the bottom corner.NSIMI was 1-0 down in the first 10 minutes of the game.However,NSIMI started to get into the game after 10 minutes and created many chances,many of which were not finished off.ningyang then equalized for NSIMI when striker broderick tan chased down the centreback and pressurising the centreback into making a hashed clearance.the loose ball was collected by ningyang and he danced past one defender before dispatching the ball into the bottom corner.NSIMI were level!

AMG were then incensed at the referee not giving them a penalty decision when striker kokyao went down in the box under a fair challenge by NSIMI's centreback.it was clearly a penalty....NOT.the AMG players,particularly the lovable ernest aw,started to lose their cool and NSIMI took advantage when winger tan peng yang received the ball down the flank and went past leftback jevon before getting his shirt pulled by centreback derrick,earning a penalty.AMG were livid as they just had a penalty rejected earlier.more controversy was to come when midfielder kelvin took the penalty and hit it straight at the keeper and blasted the rebound back to indonesia,only for the referee to call for a retake after some players had encroached the area before the penalty was taken.AMG exploded and hurled expletives at the referee but this did not stop kelvin from dispatching the resulting penalty.it was 2-1 to NSIMI and half time came.

The 2nd half was more of a scrappy affair with the game being a feisty affair due to AMG still pissed at the referee's penalty decisions.This proved to be AMG's downfall when andrew ooi collected the loose ball in midfield and hit a stunning shot over the keeper.it was andrew's maiden first goal and he celebrated as if it was a world cup final goal,but did not overcelebrate for fear of cramping.goalkeeper vikram was given the chance to redeem his a division penalty miss when striker kelvin chased down a loose ball and created a penalty from nothing when the centreback got too pissed with his large frame and just pulled him down.vikram however,mistook the ground for the ball and took the worst penalty ever taken in nsimi history.the game was effectively over from there and pengyang capped off NSIMI's performance by cramping up himself after sprinting for the first time in two months.medical reports after the game showed pengyang to have pulled his hamstring and the star player will be out for two weeks.LOL

MAN of the match: wang ning yang for his goal and dancing past the AMG midfielders as if he wasnt even there.despite suffering a nose injury,he inspired NSIMI to a great victory.

This player is infamous for his less than functional salt circulation in his body,causing his body to cramp up as and when his body feels like it.He has performed the amazing feat of being able to have a cramp in the right leg,followed by the left one,leaving even jjc coach andric chua amazed at his feat.However,this player has one of,if not the best kicks in the team and often shoots from afar,leaving opposition keepers scrambling for the ball.Also,Andrew has an uncanny ability to completely end a mass conversation with one of his lame jokes.Once Andrew starts saying something,the conversation most likely ends in silence,perhaps due to Andrew's sense of humour(or lack of).Furthermore,Andrew is the cutest player in the team and often makes many different poses in group photos.One such example would be the one above,which shows Andrew's cute face (:

Injury News

TEAM NSIMI have been dealt a large blow when an MRI scan today revealed leftback Jeremy Cheong,has been ruled out for a minimum of one month due to his persistent knee injury.Cheong Senior has been pissed at Jeremy's injury and therefore Jeremy will not be able to participate in NSIMI matches.However,Jeremy is still free to play with his eyebrows and give monkeys to people.

With star midfielder Francis being unavailable due to his badminton season and speedy leftback Jeremy Cheong out through a hamstring injury,there was an unfamiliar feel about the look of NSIMI after a long absence due to A Division.NSIMI paraded new loan signing Eugene Ng at leftback due to Broderick's late night DOTA.Kelvin,perhaps inspired by Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso,was fielded at defensive midfielder(not our choice) and Ziting,still being delusional that he's a striker,was played at striker to satisfy his fetish for centrebacks,in the hope that they too,will show their backsides to him.

The match kicked off at burning temperatures in JJC,with NSIMI having played its first match since December.Team Fairfield started the better of the two sides with their slick passing and the movement of their right winger Neo.However,NSIMI struggled to score due to the solid partnership of terrance and joel at centreback for fairfield.the game was pretty even during the first half and the teams went into the break deadlocked at 0-0.eugene and eugene were then substituted for pengyang and cheeyew,with pengyang playing at rightwing,cheeyew playing at rightback and andrew at leftback.NSIMI came flying out of the blocks,with winger pengyang getting down the channel and lobbing an intended cross over the goalkeeper and it was cleared off the line.striker ziting collected the ball from the ensuing melee and took a shot,but the keeper could only parry it into the path of stand in striker broderick,who was lurking and was tapped in.it was 1-0 to NSIMI.However,team fairfield soon responded,with the fairfield striker latching onto a through ball,nudging centreback nasrullah off the ball and dispatched the shot into the bottom corner.However,NSIMI continued to attack with intent,with winger pengyang and striker yiyang combining with great effect.that combination soon brought another goal for NSIMI,with yiyang laying the ball off for pengyang,who took a touch and finished into the bottom lefthand corner with the outside of his left foot.it was 2-1 for NSIMI.NSIMI then made it 3-1 when a long punt from centreback Kelvin went straight into the keeper's hands,only for him to parry it into yiyang's chest for NSIMI's third goal.team fairfield then scored with keeper xiyue doing a fabianski and making it 3-2.however,it was too late as NSIMI came out 3-2 victors.a great game for NSIMI to make their comeback,with some scintillating play,such as yiyang backheeling the ball for pengyang to latch on to down the wing and pengyang playing a through pass to eugene.

This player has tremendous pace and has started almost every game for NSIMI. (Description from PES 2009.) A key player in the team, he rarely tires out and holds an important role in sneaking past defences, due to his ability to avoid being noticed (read: short). He is the highest scoring midfielder for Team NSIMI and has a couple of fine assists to his name too. He can also win many free-kicks for the team as he is easily being high-booted and is an invaluable asset to the team.

Off the pitch, Peng Yang is also a key figure in team bonding. Being vertically challenged and with his uniquely good (NOT!) looks, this fiesty midget often finds himself being the centre of attention as the common topic of conversation (read: guai lan). He is currently in a tremendous run of form off the pitch. If his footballing career is to fail somehow, or after retirement, he can consider being a stand-up comedian, though some may not be able to see him even if he stands up on a chair.

P.S. Some may not be able to recognise Peng Yang in the above photo. A more recognisable view would be that of a bird's eye view, but no such photo could be found in our photo archives. LOL.

You know the school is screwed up when the principal starts a verbal war with the workers of the new bubble tea stall over students not throwing away their own rubbish. An altercation which got blown up into a full-scale scream fest beyond the decibel scale, which saw the police come down into the canteen to bring the Indian stall helper away. Great control.Thunderous shooting.Lightning speed.Penalty kick expert.Sadly,none of these can be used to describe Ziting.Due to his delusion,he often thinks of himself as a striker and ends up playing centreback.This player has the amazing ability to say something so lame that the person goes speechless.His infamous ''prawn prawn prawn(hei hei hei)''laughter and his wellknown odour has made him invaluable to the team.Despite his shortcomings,Ziting does have his strengths,such as having a strong odour,guailan-ing people and making fun of pengyang's face(who doesnt).Team NSIMI has run out of superlatives to describe this brilliant player.His left foot is almost useable and he jumps as high as pengyang(this is not an insult).ziting is also very religious,as seen from his celebration after sports day when he won 4x400m when he emulated kaka's ''i belong to god'' celebration.we hope ziting can continue to keep out crucial goals for team NSIMI by bringing rubber bands onto the pitch and irritating strikers with the rubber bands and odour.one word for this player:BEWARE.

Blessed with a velvet touch and a sniper like outside foot,Yiyang is one of,if not the best player in the team.Yiyang has developed quite an understanding with Kelvin to score plenty of goals for Team NSIMI.Yiyang also has the uncanny ability to guailan people yet at the same time make make the person being guailan laugh.Also,his pool abilities are only second to the number seven in team NSIMI.Yiyang has often been compared to Dimitar Berbatov of Manchester United due to the ball sticking to his feet like glue,but the author thinks he's better.We hope Yiyang will cotinue to score goals for Team NSIMI and hopefully stop his BLUFF shinanigans.LOL

The best striker in the team,Kelvin almost never fails to find the net in games for NSIMI.Other than two games,he has scored in every game for Team NSIMI.Blessed with a gigantic frame,speed and a small dick,he towers over most defenders and scares the shit out of them.Kelvin,being tall,likes to make fun of short people for their height and his trademark insults are ''cant see eye to eye'' and often makes fun of people's ugly faces,despite his less than average looking face.He also has a tendency to get injured during physical training and then miraculously heal when it comes to playing a match.Despite having a tendency to miss open goals,he has world class finishing abilities.One such moment came in a match against a previous opponent where the handsome number seven of team NSIMI floated a high ball over the defence for kelvin to finish with a thumping volley.we expect kelvin to continue scoring goals by the bucketload for team NSIMI.However,he should stop insulting people for their height and ugly face in order to avoid bad karma,which has resulted in missing two open goals.
